The Christmas Guardian Angels Scrolls will be available this Tuesday and Wednesday.
Laura Saunders, who is the Executive Director for Ray of Hope Children’s Services, made that announcement on wish-list holiday scrolls for needy youngsters.
For local businesses, community members, and others, this annual Ray of Hope program is an opportunity for them to provide one, two, or even all three wishes – each wish-list scroll will contain three items.
Electronic wish-list scrolls will be available for the first time at www.givinghope@rayofhopechrildrensservices.org, Saunders added.
She noted that food gift cards are also needed to help feed children in the program.
Scrolls for the Christmas Guardian Angels can be picked up, locally, at Dutch Bros (Manteca, Lathrop, and Ripon locations), Lucy Moreno Insurance, Collective Hair Salon, Chit Chat Café, Starbucks (Daniels / Airport Way), Peace Love Shave Ice, and Chick-fil-A (both Manteca locations).
All gift items can be dropped off by Dec. 10 at the Ray of Hope Corporate Office at 113 W. Yosemite Ave., Manteca, or at the following authorized location:
- Manteca Police Department, 1001 W. Center St.
- Manteca Fire Department headquarters, 1154 S. Union Rd.
Ray of Hope gets those are referrals from agencies such as the San Joaquin County Child Protective Services, Child Abuse Protection Council, and Human Service Agency, to name a few.
