The Meadowood Subdivision in Ripon continues to make progress.
Located on West Colony Road and Fulton Avenue, this community fitted between the Save Mart shopping center and the Mistlin Sports Park will feature 88 two-story homes, once grown out.
At the Dec. 23 special session, the Ripon City Council wasted little time in accepting the Final Map for the Meadowood Subdivision.
According to City Administrator Kevin Werner, the Meadowood Residential Subdivision project – part of the North Pointe Specific Plan – was approved back on February 2018.
A condition of approval was the Final Map, which was not to be recorded until all civil improvements, subject to the condition that no sale agreements would be executed until all required improvements had been accepted.
That Final Map was recently submitted to San Joaquin County for review and needed only the signatures from the City of Ripon – notably, Mayor Gary Barton, City Engineer (Werner) and City Clerk Lisa Roos – hence, the reason for the special meeting.
Council approved the processing of the Meadowood Final Map back in October, allowing construction of 17 homes prior to acceptance of the civil improvements.
