This Thursday is the return of the Ripon Farmers Market.
From 5 to 9 p.m., the annual fundraiser will once again benefit Garden Joy, the non-profit community garden that provides opportunities for children and adults alike on the art of gardening as well as helping give back to the community.
Garden Joy, located at 929 W. Main St., has donated over 10,000 pounds of produce to those in need. It’s where the Ripon Farmers Market will take place – every Thursdays, from May through September.
The Garden Joy Team thanked the Love Ripon volunteers via social media for their efforts on getting the garden ready for the upcoming farmers market, which will feature organic local produce, specialty food items, Artisan makers, hot foods, sweet treats, kids’ classes, and the on-site beer garden
Savannah Lorraine will be the opening day musical performer while Milk House Fiber Mill, a small fiber mill located near Oakdale, is the live artist, specializing in custom fiber knitting and weaving.
