The Ripon Consolidated Fire District announced Wednesday that Josh Bodeson is leaving.
After 15 years of service that includes serving as a captain and paramedic, he’ll be embarking on a new professional journey.
“Capt. Bodeson has been a cornerstone of this department – bringing leadership, calm under pressure, and commitment to the fire service have shaped our team and left a lasting mark on the organization,” said RCFD via social media.
Ripon Professional Firefighters Local 3880 added: “While we’re sad to see him go, we’re proud of the legacy he leaves behind and confident he’ll bring the same excellence to his next fire department.
“His new organization is gaining not only a skilled and knowledgeable firefighter, but a leader with heart, integrity, and a passion for service.”
RCFD thanked him for his “15 impactful years at Ripon.”
