The Ripon Consolidated Fire District will be hosting a Town Hall Q&A session on Saturday, Aug. 16, beginning at 6 p.m. at Ripon Fire Station 1, 142 S. Stockton Ave.
“We have a series of Town Hall meetings scheduled,” said RCFD in a recent post addressed to those in the service area consisting of about 55 square miles – of that, 3.5 square miles are within the Ripon city limits.
The local fire district will talk about some of the most recent challenges during the session.
“We are eager to hear your questions as well as your thoughts on how to deliver a better level of service,” said RCFD.
RCFD was kept busy lately, responding to 77 concurrent calls – that’s when a second or third call for service was placed while the crew was already assigned to an emergency incident – which averaged out to 2.5 per day based on the June report.
The next Town Hall Q&A will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m. at the Ripon Senior Center, 433 S. Wilma Ave.
