The Ripon Police Department’s Area of Responsibility 3 meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday.

“We’ll be covering citywide safety updates, with a special focus of AOR 3,” said local police, referring to the area the encompasses south of Highway 99 and west of Vera Avenue.

The session will be in the Emergency Operations Center / Training Room of the Ripon Police Department, 259 N. Wilma Ave.

In addition, officers, per pursuant to Government Code 7072, will discuss the Military Equipment Policy and will answer any questions.

“This is a great opportunity to meet your local officers, ask questions, and stay connected with what’s happening in your community,” RPD said.

Those living outside of Area 3 are also invited to attended this meeting.
