The same officers of the Ripon Unified School District will remain intact for another year.
Jason Winter, for starters, will continue on as school board president for the 2026.
He was nominated by to serve another year in top chair by board Vice President Caroline Hutto at Tuesday’s reorganization session.
Hutto was reappointed as VP on the local school board. Ditto that for Trustee Harpal Chandar, who will stay on as the board clerk.
No surprise that Rusty Clark will be the board secretary. The position is a longstanding tradition at RUSD saved for the district superintendent.
He took over as the top administrator following the retirement of Ziggy Robeson.
RUSD also announced the following:
· New hires / resignations – Javier Cuen Obeso is the new bilingual liaison at Ripon High while Ana Tovar-Briseno and Rosa Hernandez were added as substitutes for Food Services. Jade Diaz is being brought on a new yard duty sub. In addition, the three resignations of personnel were noted at Weston, Colony Oak, and Ripon elementary school sites.
· New website – Superintendent Clark said that the district’s new and updated website is scheduled to launch in January. Stay tuned by logging on to www.riponsusd.net.
