The Ripon Unified District Office

The most recent enrollment figures at the Ripon Unified School District mirrored that of a year ago.

According to the sixth month of the school year reporting period, from Jan. 6 through Jan. 31, RUSD had a total of 3,296, which matched that of the 2023-2024 school year numbers during the same January stretch.

Ripon High led the way with 1,006 students – 16 fewer from a year ago – while the Independent Study program jumped from 39 students in 2023-2024, to 71 (27 more) for January 2024-2025.

Harvest High, the district’s alternative education site, had 11 students enrolled during the past month.

Rounding out the district enrollment numbers were Ripona Elementary School (464), Park View Elementary School (451), Colony Oak Elementary School (439), Ripon Elementary School (424), and Weston Elementary School (418).

Weston was recognized by Student Services Director Lisa Mazza for having the highest monthly attendance rate at 96.5 percent while Ripon Elementary showed improvement from a year ago while maintaining the same attendance rate.
