The Ripon Unified School District just boosted up personnel in the classroom.

Trustees earlier this month approved the hiring of eight teachers, four substitute instructors, and three instructional aides.

They also agreed to bring on Samantha Bertram as food services sub and Gurmit Kaur as a substitute bus driver.

Among the new teacher hires were Blanca Ewell, Samantha Farrell, Bethany Heinrich, Stephanie Macias, Amy Mohler, Sarah Stevenson, and Estephanie Torres.

Jodi Franey, Casey Barton, Lindsey Staples and Maria Navarrete were added to the substitute teaching pool.

Ariana Ochoa and Adriana Valencia Loya are the new instructional aides at Ripon Elementary School while Morgan Reider is the instructional aide at Ripona Elementary School.
