The Ripon Unified School District announced 13 new hires for the upcoming school year at the July school board meeting.
The list of newcomers included Hailey Dorsey, who will be teaching at Ripon High, along with several instructional assistants, paraeducators, and certificated substitutes.
Elizabeth Payne and Susan Herrera were the instructional assistants assigned to Ripona / Colony Oak and Weston / Park View, respectively.
Among the paraeducators, Leslie Rushing and Lynda Hendley will both be at Colony Oak while Alyssa Garza, Andrea Arteaga, Lydia Heston, and Angela Eavenson will be going to school sites that’s yet to be determined.
Added to the substitute teaching pool were Maria Del Carmen Piceno Castillo, Amanda Salvador, Ana Maria Medina, and Caitlin Williams.
RUSD, in addition, had several resignations, including four at Ripon High, one at Ripon Elementary, one at Colony Oak, and one at the District Office.
