Ripon Unified trustees recognizing Hutto for board president service

Caroline Hutto, who spent previous years as president of the Ripon Unified school board, will be recognized at Monday’s monthly session.

During December’s re-organization of the board meeting, she was appointed vice president while Jason Winter took over as board president.

Hutto served consecutive terms as board president – in 2023 and 2024.

The special recognition will be part of Superintendent Ziggy Robeson’s report.

The RUSD session will be held in the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave., beginning at 7 p.m.

In other agenda items:

• Trustees will recognize the winners of the recent RUSD sixth annual Speech Contest.

• They’ll hear a presentation by the staff of Ripon Elementary School.

• Dana Phelps, who is the Director of Curriculum, will provide a report of the Drug Prevention assemblies, using slides.

• Director of Maintenance and Operations Andy Strickland will share an update on the facilities.
