San Joaquin County Supervisor Sonny Dhaliwal is helping secure $35,000 for non-profits working with Manteca youth.
The Board of Supervisors when they meet today in Stockton are expected to approve Dhaliwal’s recommendation to award $10,000 to the Thomas Toy Teen Community as well as $25,000 for Boys and Girls Club of Manteca/Lathrop.
Both grants will used for space improvements.
The Toy Center will use:

*$173 to expand the upstairs gym to purchase supplies to remove a wall and expand gym size

*$300 to upgrade the art room with the purchase of two height-adjustable art desks for accessibility and comfort.
