Taylor appointed as new principal at Golden West School

Jen Taylor is the new Golden West Elementary School principal.

With 25 years of experience in education, Taylor brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her new role.

She spent 15 years as a junior high teacher in Tracy before serving as vice principal in Manteca Unified for the past decade.

“I am truly honored to be the next principal of Golden West,” Taylor said. “This school holds a special place in my heart as the staff, students, and families welcomed me into MUSD 10.years ago, so having the opportunity to return and be a part of the community and the work they are doing is exciting.”

Taylor’s Manteca Unified tenure includes valuable contributions at French Camp, Golden West, Joseph Widmer, and Veritas Elementary.

Taylor said he eagerly anticipates collaborating with the school’s committed staff to support students and foster their ongoing learning and development. 

“Preparing the Golden West students for their high school years and beyond is of the highest priority to me,” Taylor added.

 A mother of twin boys currently in 8th grade in Manteca Unfied, she has embraced the Central Valley as her home since college.
