Thomas Toy Community Center invites teens and parents to open house
TOY media room
Jory Kusy, who is overseeing the Thomas Toy Community Center’s social media production program, is shown inside the sound-proof studio.

Teens in grades the seventh through 12 grades and their parents are invited to tour the Thomas Toy Community Center during open house hours from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11 through Thursday, Aug. 14.

Located in the heart of the Manteca, the center is free of charge for students in grades 7–12 and offers a welcoming space where teens can hang out, try new things in a safe, fun, clean environment.

The large recreation room features air hockey, billiards, ping pong, foosball, and basketball, all available for open play as well as organized tournaments. A variety of upcoming programs will include karate, dance, gardening, and basketball, along with skill-building workshops in the on-site bike repair shop.

The center is also seeking adult volunteers to support its recording studio — no advanced technical knowledge is required.

Additional help is needed for front desk and other support during after-school hours.

Don't miss this opportunity to see what the Thomas Toy Community Center is all about.

Stop by during open house hours, bring a friend, and discover a place where teens can thrive.
