Three incumbents file as deadline for Ripon council hopefuls Aug. 8

Thursday is the deadline for candidates seeking to run for the Ripon City Council.

According to the Notice of Election public notice, this person must be a registered voter and reside within Ripon city limits.

According to City Clerk Lisa Roos, the three incumbents – Mayor Leo Zuber, Danie de Graaf, and Gary Barton – have already filed for another full term (four years) on the City Council.

 The filing of papers may be obtained from: Ripon City Hall, City Clerk, 259 N. Wilma Ave., Ripon CA.

The filing hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., from now through Thursday (Aug. 8).
