Weston Elementary School had the honor of having the highest attendance rate last month at Ripon Unified.
That announcement was made by retiring Director of Student Services Lisa Mazza at the May 12 school board meeting.
Weston’s attendance rate for Month 9 of this school year was 97.14 percent.
Harvest High, the district’s alternative education school site, showed the most improvement over the span of the past 12 months – plus 2.85 percent – going 94.86 a year ago to 97.71.
Among the comprehensive sites, Ripona Elementary School’s improved year-to-date figures were recognized at 95.69 percent this year when compared to 94.83 percent in 2024.
As for enrollment, RUSD had 3,298 for the ninth month reporting period, spanning from March 31 to April 25.
Ripon High tallied 993 students during that time, with Ripona reporting 460 students, followed by Park View (458), Ripon Elementary (452), Weston (449), and Colony Oak (440).
The Independent Study program tallied 33 students while Harvest High had a count of 13 students.
