SACRAMENTO — News10 today announced the launch of a brand new 9 a.m. news talk show.

News@9 will be hosted by News10 Good Morning Anchors Dan Elliott and Keba Arnold. Both will bring their knowledge of daily top stories and hot button issues to the table in a lively, unscripted and likely unpredictable format. 

The hour-long show will deliver news headlines and weather…along with a rotating cast of guests and experts..and will feature constant interaction with viewers via all kinds of social media…including Facebook, Twitter and Skype. Emphasis will be on pressing community issues with information from local newsmakers and opinion leaders as well as viewer editorials.

“This is not a traditional newscast dressed up with cosmetic or format changes---this is fundamental change in how we cover interesting topics,” said Maria Barrs, Vice-President and General Manager of News10. “Our viewers will be as much a part of this as we are.”

More than just a news show…News10@9 is a social experiment with cool news coverage. It’s a fresh new way for viewers to connect and voice what matters to them most.
