Women’s connection luncheon Wednesday
After six successful years, the Manteca Convention & Visitors Bureau began holding their Women’s Connection as quarterly luncheons in 2009. Next Wednesday, Oct. 21, marks the final luncheon for the year, co-sponsored by Doctors Hospital of Manteca, Lars P. Enevoldsen, M.D. and Bradley D. Tourlotte, M.D.

The luncheon’s featured speaker is Conflict Resolution Specialist Francine Poelstra. Poelstra has been with the San Joaquin Mediation Center since 2000.

Starting as a volunteer, she became so involved that she gave up her private business to join the Board and work with the center full time. Francine’s mission is the Center’s mission as well: Building a safe community by preventing and resolving conflict through education and mediation.

The Women’s Connection Luncheon is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Emory, 1028 W. Yosemite Avenue, Manteca. The $25 ticket includes lunch, tradeshow and networking opportunity as well as our Keynote speaker presentation. One lucky attendee will also walk away with the conference’s grand prize, a lovely piece of jewelry, courtesy of New York Diamonds in Manteca.

You may purchase tickets at the Manteca Convention & Visitors Bureau office located at 1251 E. Yosemite Avenue (inside the Manteca Bowling Center) or by calling the Manteca CVB at 823-7229.
