Featured will be the original creations of various artists in the area including oils, pastels, watercolors and other media. Most of these will be on sale. Other attractions will include raffle prizes and other giveaways

Safe Halloween, an annual event held in the heart of downtown Manteca is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Manteca Interact Club, which is sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Manteca, is again planning for Safe Halloween.  The event is for children 8 years or under.  They‘re encouraged to don their costumes while trick or treating at the many participating merchants downtown.  The Interact Club has arranged for Fun and Games to provide a jump house and several kiddie rides for a small price.

The FESM Steak and Oyster dinner is set for Saturday, Nov. 7, at the FESM Hall at 240 N. Main St.

No host cocktails are at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. and dancing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. with the music provided by Manuel Jacinto.  Tickets are $30 per adult and $15 for children ages 6-12.  Those interested can call Carlos & Melissa at 825-5089
