This year, bring the kids and have a Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus and Lucy Halloween as the Great Pumpkin comes to your local Bass Pro Shops.

Free kids’ activities including fun crafts, a costume parade and “Trick-or-Treating” will be available at 53 Bass Pro Shops retail locations in the United States and Canada the last two weekends in October (excluding Branson, Miami, Islamorada, and Outlet).  Kids will receive free Peanuts-themed coloring sheets and get a free photo download of them with the Great Pumpkin.  Fridays, Oct. 21 and 28, from 4 to 7 p.m., Bass Pro Shops will offer “Trick or Treating” throughout the stores as well as on Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31.  Look for the orange and black balloons to mark in-store locations that are passing out treats.

It wouldn’t be Halloween without pumpkins so Fridays, Oct. 21 and 28, from 5 to 7 p.m., kids will enjoy getting ready for the season by making a fun Halloween reflector necklace.  Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 22-23, from 1 to 4 p.m., and Monday, Oct. 31, kids can decorate a Peanuts trick-or-treat bag.  Kids will also enjoy coloring a wood pumpkin from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 29, and 30.  (All crafts available while supplies last)

Let the kids dress in their favorite costume and be part of the costume parade Friday, Oct. 21 and 28, from 6 to 7 p.m. with small prizes being awarded to participants.  Saturdays, Oct. 22 and 29, and Sundays, Oct. 23 and 30, bring the kids to roast marshmallows and sample a tasty apple dessert (see store for exact times).

This year, bring the kids to the pumpkin patch at Bass Pro Shops and enjoy a fun, safe and affordable Halloween Bass Pro Shops-style.  Check out www.basspro.com for more information and store locations near you.
