The program was low key in terms of pomp and circumstance, but high in significant impact on the women who were the special guests at the annual Manteca Soroptimists’ Awards Night. Recognition presentations were made to Jodie Sheffield for her longtime volunteer work at the Haven of Peace Shelter in French Camp, and to Natasha Adams for her efforts in overcoming adversity in her life. For her tireless efforts in helping make significant impacts on the lives of women and their children, Sheffield received the Soroptimist Ruby Award: Women Helping Women.
