For the first time, Ripon High put together a showcase of the arts on Thursday.
The Gallery of the Arts Show was held in the Multi-Purpose Room, featuring displays of digital art and hand-crafted drawings.
The performing arts included students putting out and singing lyrics that they personally wrote and crafted.
And then there was the “beauty of instrumental compilation and angelic voices of our choir,” said Activities Director Jill Mortensen.
She pointed out that this inaugural event was the idea of art teacher Parmveer Masuta.
Teacher Geoffrey Felver was the master of ceremonies for the evening. He shared his passion for music with his advanced choir and band.
The Leadership class also helped out, with Chloe Kiser and Maria Soto spearheading the organization of Gallery of the Arts Show.
“(They) put their heart and soul into the project,”  Mortensen said. “It was a beautiful night of talent, conversation, laughter, refreshments and more.”
