San Francisco Bay to Breakers run has few arrests

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Of the 40,000 people who signed up to take part in the 101st Bay to Breakers race, fewer than two dozen appeared to run into trouble. San Francisco Police Department spokesman Albie Esparza, citing preliminary figures, reported 19 people arrested during Sunday's race. What they were arrested for wasn't immediately disclosed.
