3 WOUNDED IN SAN FRANCISCO SHOOTING: SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — San Francisco police have arrested three people in connection with an early morning robbery attempt that left three others with gunshot wounds. The shooting occurred around 3:50 a.m. Tuesday on a street in the city's Mission District when police say three men in a car tried to rob the three victims. One of the victims, a 46-year-old man, was shot multiple times in the chest and suffered life-threatening wounds.
