SACRAMENTO (AP) — A new report shows California community college students are having a harder time achieving their academic goals. The Oakland Tribune reports the Student Success Scorecard was released Friday by California Community Colleges, which serves 2.4 million students at 112 campuses. The analysis found 49.2 percent of students who enrolled in 2006 to earn a certificate or transfer to a 4-year college did so within six years.
