SF drug tech pleads guilty to misdemeanor theft

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A former San Francisco police technician accused of skimming cocaine from a crime lab pleaded guilty on Friday to misdemeanor theft. Deborah Madden entered her plea before U.S. District Judge Susan Illston. The crime is punishable by up to a year in jail.
