HUNDREDS PROTEST POLICE SHOOTINGS IN STOCKTON: STOCKTON (AP) — Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of downtown Stockton in the wake of a police shooting that left a 32-year-old man dead. Police — some clad in riot gear — were deployed during Tuesday's demonstration against police brutality. Police say one person was arrested and some patrol cars were vandalized, but officers were able to handle the crowd.
