The Swiss Hall in Ripon comes alive with a party – sometimes even two or three celebrations – every month – with several of them open to anyone including those who have no blood connections to someone in the Alpine region of Europe. They range from the perennially popular Swiss Echoes spring concert which is coming up on April 18, to a spring schwingfest, Buebe Schwingfest, fall Schwinfgest and Octoberfest. One of the three happenings at Christmas is for the young ones, along with the young once – parents and grandparents – and that’s the Children’s Christmas party.
