A 16-year-old Manteca boy reportedly upset with his family life took his apparent frustrations and anger out on a car belonging to a friend of his dad – breaking all the windows with a rake, stomping up and down on the hood and on the top of the vehicle causing over $1,000 in damage.
The teen was charged with felony vandalism.
The incident occurred Thursday shortly before 4 p.m. on Connie Court near Louise Avenue and the Tidewater Bikeway, Manteca Police said.  Officers noted that the boy had left his dad’s home and went to stay with his mother but returned to his dad’s residence when he realized he hadn’t  retrieved his clothes when he found the car belonging to the friend.
Police cited the youth and turned him over to the custody of his mother.
