Joey Sanchis is going to miss a lot of things about being a student at Joseph Widmer Elementary School.
For the last five years he has called the campus home and built friendships that he hopes will stand the test of time – or at least the jump to high school next year.
And he’s certainly going to miss the breaks.
“I’m going to miss the time off of school that we had this year,” the co-Valedictorian joked. “But I’m looking forward to being a Lathrop High School student, and know that I made memories while here at Joseph Widmer that will be with me forever.”
Sanchis was joined by Elena Huizar, Kiara Pacheco, Kristina Rose, Anrav Singh, David Hernadez, teaghen Sharifnejad, Amanjod Sidhu and Ashravir Sidhu as students who finished their 8th grade year with a 4.0 grade point average – something he said he was proud of.
