Anita Esther Corder, 92, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2017 in Lodi, CA.  Anita was born in Manteca where she lived on her family’s vineyards. 
   Anita was a dedicated employee of the San Joaquin County Human Services Agency working in the Foster Care Unit where she made many lifelong friends.  Anita’s passion for travel took her worldwide.  One of her favorite places to visit was Italy where she could connect with her family’s roots. 
   Anita is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Mary Hat, and her six siblings, Henry, Floyd, Lucas, Marion, and Lena Hat and Margaret DeVinny.            Anita is survived by her son William Corder (Janis), her daughter Carolyn Hellinger, her grandchildren Andrew Corder, Timothy Corder, Stacy Hellinger, Tamara Kerbs, David Hellinger, and four great grandchildren. 
   The family would like to thank the staff from Arbor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for the wonderful care and kindness you gave our mother. 
   A celebration of life will be held at Pietro’s Restaurant, in Lodi on Friday, September 15th at 11:00 am.
