Bob D. Glaze, 66, passed away on Jan. 15, 2011, in Manteca. He was born on August 31, 1944 in Durant, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents the late Emmett and Lola Glaze, as well as his siblings Mildred Glaze, Elvis Glaze and Alton Glaze.  

He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Cassie McCurdy of Manteca. His children are Randy Glaze of Virginia Beach, Nina Marvcesim of AZ, Jolene Mc Kiernan of Ripon, Jeremiah Mc Curdy of Croatia, and Adam McCurdy of Sacramento. He was blessed with 8 grandchildren: Ashli, Amanda, Michael, Avery, Madelyn, Luke, Adam and Olivia. In addition Bob has one surviving sister, Wanda Liles of Manteca.

Bob was the owner and operator of Glaze Construction for over 40 years. He was a hard worker and took great care of his family. Bob was known for raising English bull dogs. He was an avid race car fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

Arrangements for Mr. Glaze are under the direction of P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. A service will be held in his honor on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pets and Pals Animal Shelter, 12488 S.
