After 89 years of life filled with much love and laughter, Bob Pico passed into the arms of Jesus November 23, 2023. Most would describe Bob as a charming man with a gentle spirit, who lived well and loved well.  Born August 23, 1934 Bob lived in Lathrop, CA until eventually he and his wife Marlene settled in French Camp, California where they raised their daughters. Bob loved his community and served it well as a fire fighter for French Camp Fire Dept, first as a young volunteer,  later as a professional, and lastly serving on the fire board.

Bob was an active member at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church and loved serving a God he knew well.  Bob was a member of the Knights of Columbus, a strong supporter of the Pregnancy Help Center, and proudly served as a Eucharistic minister.

Bob leaves a legacy of love with his wife Marlene of 68 yrs; daughters Laurie DeBoer (Modesto), Pam Martin (Manteca), and Sandi Luke (Lodi); as well as four grandchildren, and one heavenly grandson, seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church Manteca on Wednesday, December 27th. There will be a rosary at 11a.m. for those wishing to participate, followed by a funeral mass at 11:30. Family and& friends are invited to gather immediately after at Chez Shari restaurant, 305 N. Union rd. Manteca

Memorial donations can be made to The Knights of Columbus chapter of St. Anthony’s Church Manteca, or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
