Bonnie Heatherly, a resident of Manteca and Lawrence Livermore  Lab retiree, died peacefully, Dec. 9, 2008, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Manteca after a lengthy illness.
She was beloved mother to Nonnie Ridgwell (son-in-law Jim); adoring daughter of Helen and Wilmer Davidson; caring  sister  to Margaret Giannini, Paula Muller and Tony Davidson;  and devoted grandmother of Brandon, Jacob, and Nicholas Ridgwell.
Bonnie graduated from Livermore High School, class of 1972. Bonnie spent most of her life in Livermore but recently she lived in Manteca and Turlock.
Bonnie was a generous, kind hearted, humorous person who loved and cherished her family and friends. She was happy cooking, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved volunteering in her community and soon became a fast friend to everyone she met. Bonnie will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Friday, Dec. 19, at 1 p.m. at the Parkview Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road Manteca.
