Brenda Sue Allen-Werner, age 81, passed away on January 8, 2022 after several years battling dementia.

   Brenda was born in Oklahoma but relocated to Manteca with her family and was the oldest of three siblings. Brenda was a long-time employee at Sharpes Army Depot in Lathrop.  A highlight of her late husband Frank Allen's life was serving as a foster parent for 33 precious newborn infants. In her later years Brenda became Manteca SHARP's volunteer, where she made many new friends and met her second husband Burdell Werner. Brenda enjoyed watching sports, listening to music, and playing games on the computer.

   Brenda was predeceased by her first husband Frank and second husband Burdell. She is survived by her sister Linda Duran (and husband, Donald).

   Brenda's family would like to thank the staff at Bethel Retirement Community and Community Hospice of Modesto for their kindness and support. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Community Hospice Foundation of Modesto.
