Bruce Irving Bickle, 74 of Patterson passed away Wednesday, January 3, at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.
  Mr. Bickle was born in San Francisco and was a resident of Patterson for 10 years. He was a Manteca Police Officer for 35 years. He enjoyed photography, welding, woodworking, fishing and doing website development for many organizations and businesses. Bruce was a longtime volunteer for the Patterson Historical Society.
   Mr. Bickle is survived by his wife, Denise Bickle of Patterson; sons, Tom Bickle of Lodi and Jon Fisher of Patterson; daughters, Virginia Bradford of Newman, Brianna Taylor of Texas and Michelle Lopez of Modesto; brothers, Louis Bickle of Sacramento and Robert Bickle of Washington State, 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patty Bickle; sons, Richard Bickle and Cliff Bickle.
   A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, at United Lutheran Church, 649 Northgate Drive, Manteca, CA.  Services conducted by Hillview Funeral Chapel, Patterson.
