Charles Edward Roam obit

Charles Edward Roam, 79, entered into rest on March 19, 2024 in Stockton. He was born on June 2, 1944 to Carl and Eula Roam in French Camp, CA.

Charles leaves behind his adored wife of 55 years, Shirely Roam of Stockton and their three daughters, Lisa Page of Stockton, Rose Guibor of ID and Angela Medford of Manteca. In addition he was blessed with four grandchildren, Nick McCreery, Wesley, Angelina and Irland Page. Charles also has nine great-grandchildren.

Charles was a Stockton/ Manteca longtime resident. He served in the Army National Guard between

1964-1971 and would later go on to work for over 42 years for Union Pacific Railroad retiring as Yard Master. He was involved in every aspect of his daughters lives, and he served as Glenwood 4-H swine leader for many years. A task he took on with great pride. He was an amazing husband and always made his wife feel cared for and beautiful, and always made her laugh. Charlie had his ritual snack drop offs to all his grandchildren and his pickup was something they always looked forward to. The family has lost the patriarch of the family. May he continue to watch over his family from heaven. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve the Roam family. At his request NO SERVICES will follow. To give direct condolences to the family please visit our website at www.plfryandson.com search tributes.
