Clifford E. Gillit, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Hospice House of San Joaquin on April 16, 2021. He was born March 16, 1934 in French Camp, CA and spent his life in Manteca, CA. Cliff leaves behind his loving wife Shirley Gillit, three children, three grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
He worked as a welder for 33 years and retired from Tuff Boy Trailers. Was active member of VTPA and WHEAT. His love for family, friends, tractors and engines was abundant.
Services will be held in the chapel at Park View Cemetery, 3661 E. French Camp RD., Manteca, CA on Wednesday, April 28, at 1p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice House of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave, Stockton, CA 95204.
