Cori Nicole Moran passed away peacefully on, February 28, 2026, while at home in Manteca. at the age of 36 yrs old.

Cori was born in Stockton and raised in both Stockton and Manteca. She attended San Joaquin County of Education schools, Walton and Redwood, until she aged out at 22 years old.

As an honoree of “Give Kids the World”, Cori spent a memorable week of fun festivities at Disney World with her immediately family as a young child.

Cori, loved travelling to Canada. Florida, New Jersey, New York, Arizona, and all over California. She loved taking day trips to Dorin Beach and Goats Rock Beach, where she would sit for hours enjoying the mist from the waves, the warm sun on her skin and the wind lightly blowing through her hair.

Her active lifestyle included her love for horses with Project Ride in Sacramento as well as water therapy in Stockton. Cori loved music as she received music therapy locally and was an avid concert goer having attended many concerts with her mother Melissa.

Cori was a frequent attendee of “Night to Shine”, a prom-like event where young adults with special needs are treated like the Kings and Queens that they are.  As her paternal grandmother would say, “Cori has a lovely and beautiful disposition” that endeared her to all that met and shared time with her. Due to this inner strength, she met all of life’s challenges and conquered them in her own special way.

Cori is survived by her mother Melissa and brother Michael of Manteca; father Terrence of Edison, NJ, Aunt Allison of Manteca and uncle Steve of Stockton and many cousins.
