Dan Robert Beukelman, 53, passed away surrounded by his family on December 15, 2022, following a short battle with cancer.

   Dan was born to Robert and Judy Beukelman on November 4, 1969, in Manteca, California. He graduated from Ripon Christian High School in 1988 and California State University Stanislaus in 1992 with a B.A. in Business Administration. He served in the United States Army, 101st Airborne Division from 1992 to 1996. He was honorably discharged at the rank of sergeant. He was proud of his military service and was honored to have served his country.

After separating from the Army he began his career in education as a math teacher at Sierra High School in 2000. He received his Master of Administration and became the vice principal at Sierra High School in 2007 then assistant principal in 2011. In 2017 he became principal at Calla High School. He spent his career in the Manteca Unified School District dedicated to educating and supporting his students. He was well liked and respected by both his colleagues and students. Calla High School’s flag was flown at half staff upon his passing.

   Dan was preceded in death by his father, Robert Beukelman.  He is survived by his mother Judy Beukelman, sister Ann Marie Beukelman and brother Steve Beukelman (Joanne). He was the beloved uncle to Jessica and Jacob Beukelman.

   Dan was blessed with a large group of friends and he enjoyed spending time with them at Pismo Beach and Lake Tahoe. His friends loved teasing him about his unwavering support of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Rams.

   A private family service will be held to honor his life. In lieu of flowers, Dan requested donations be made to the University of California San Francisco - cancer research.
