Dolores Frances (Rigney) Kohles, 95, died Thursday, January 21 at home with her family at her side in Manteca. She was born on October 7, 1914 in Oakland. Dolores was a retired secretary for the City of Oakland. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Oakland. Dolores was an 85-year resident of Oakland, moving to Manteca in 2001.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, family was her life.

She was preceded in death by both her husband Lawrence and son, Jack. She leaves behind her daughter-in-law Laura Kohles of Manteca; three grandchildren, Jacob Kohles and Susan Kohles of Manteca, Rick Shelley of Brownsville; three great-grandchildren, Emily Kohles of Mariposa, Cal., Haily and Erin Kohles of Manteca; three nieces, Susanne (Stan) Maharaj of Port Angeles, WA, Barbara Jacobi of Sequim, WA and Arlene McGuire of Sparks, NV.
Funeral service will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 16200 Cambridge Drive, Lathrop, Saturday, February 6, at 11:30 a.m. Committal will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to UCSF Children’s Hospital, Pediatric Heart Disease Research, San Francisco, CA.
