Dorcas “Jane” Silvey passed away on June 23, 2013 in Bend, Oregon.  Jane was born December 18, 1934 to Melvin G. and Dorcas (Shaw) Cottier in Great Falls, Montana.  She married Fenton Silvey on January 21, 1971 in Gardnerville, Nevada.

Jane loved cooking and sewing She was a homemaker.  She enjoyed volunteering for the Women’s Crisis Center of Santa Cruz, California as well as the League of Women Voters.

Jane is survived by a daughter, Annie Morisette of Walnut Creek, California, and three sons, John Morrisette (wife Susan) of Manteca, California, Garry Silvey (wife Julie) of Placerville, California, Randy Silvey (wife Megan) of Bend, Oregon. 

She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Mallory, Holly, Andijane and Michael Silvey, Anthony, Monique and Rachel Morrisette.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fenton, who passed away January 28, 2011.
