Earlene Isabel Gomes, 90, entered into rest on May 5, 2023 in Manteca, CA. She was born on June 21, 1932 in Tacoma, WA. 

   Earlene is preceded in death by her loving husband, George Gomes of 59 years, her parents, Emile and Harriette Bernier, her son Donald Gomes, her granddaughter Brooke Olinger and her great-grandson Charlie Geyer.

   Earlene leaves behind her children, Ernie Gomes (Julie) of Stockton, Rod Gomes of  Ripon, Gary Gomes (Lori) of Turlock and Sharyne Olinger (Mike) of Cottonwood. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Melissa, Leslie, Joshua, Alan and Nicole along with

all of her great-grandchildren.

   A Mass will be held on Friday, June 2, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Ripon, Located at 19399 E. Highway 120. Following the Mass the family would like to invite you to a reception at Calvary Reformed Community Center, 741 2nd Street in Ripon. Flowers may be sent to Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel, 111 S. Palm Ave in Ripon or in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Earlene’s name to the charity of your choice.
