With heavy hearts we say goodbye to the best son, brother, uncle and friend ever. Eddie Cardoza III joined heaven and became our guardian angel on November 27, 2021.
Eddie was diagnosed with brain cancer in December of 2020. He showed us what true resilience and bravery are while undergoing his fight. His kindness and laughter stayed true throughout and proved to us that you can do anything when you put your mind to it. To all of those going through something similar, we are here for you, and you are not alone. He is our hero.
Eddie was born on April 29, 1981 and grew up and attended St. Anthony’s Catholic School and graduated in 1999 from Manteca High School. Eddie attended University of the Pacific and attained a degree in business which he used towards his finance and operations position for the family business for over 20 years. Eddie lived in Ripon where he enjoyed spending time working on his home and garden as well as cooking and hosting extravagant meals and parties. Eddie loved traveling and exploring to see what the world had to offer, including numerous countries as well as 49 states. Eddie’s family and friends were his pride and joy and they meant everything to him. He was welcoming to those around him, and you instantly fell in love with his smile and his caring heart. He was always there to spend time with, laugh over stories, or be ready to drink that extra dirty martini. Eddie’s love of service shined through his work charitable work with many organizations including The Make a Wish Foundation as well as the charity Gift Wrapping Parties the family would put on around the holidays.
Eddie is survived by his large family as well as his grandparents Edward and Dolores Cardoza and Ada VanRyn. His parents Ed and Belinda Cardoza, his brother Ryan and his wife Natalie as well as his sister Angelique and husband Cody. In addition, his niece and nephew Eleanor and Jaxon, who he truly loved and spoiled just like they were his own.
