Edward Carl Reichmuth, a lifelong resident of Manteca, California, passed away on March 22, 2026, in Manteca at the age of 66. He was born on December 10, 1959, in Ceres, California.
Edward was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Teresa Reichmuth, who passed away in 1999, and by his parents, Joseph and Dorothy Reichmuth.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Danielle and Nicole Reichmuth, as well as his siblings, Shirley Reichmuth, Tom Reichmuth (Arlene), and Bob Reichmuth (Chris), who will forever cherish his memory.
A proud graduate of Manteca High School, Class of 1978, Edward went on to dedicate over 40 years of hard work and leadership as a foreman with The Wine Group before his retirement. He was deeply respected for his strong work ethic and reliability.
Edward was a member of St. Anthony's Church and held strong ties to his community throughout his life. He was well known in the racing community, especially at the Stockton Speedway, where he earned the nickname "The Factor." Racing was more than a hobby, it was a passion shared with his father and brothers. Together, they spent countless hours building cars from the ground up and racing them, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. He also enjoyed spending time riding his motorcycle and embracing the freedom of the open road.
Edward will be remembered for his sharp mind, quick wit, and kind heart. He was funny, intelligent, hardworking, and always willing to lend a helping hand.
P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Reichmuth family. A rosary/mass will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 525 E. North St., Manteca, Ca. following the mass he will be laid to rest at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, 17871 S. Carrolton Rd., Escalon, Ca.
