Eldon Lambert Buck, 85, entered into rest January 9, 2022 in Manteca. He was born to the late Kirk and Sarah Buck on February 1, 1936.
Eldon joins his wife Mary Buck, his son Steven Buck and grandson Troy Vick.
Also deceased are his three brothers, Leroy, Harold and Glen. He leaves behind his children, Cindy (Ken) Parkerson, Terry Stone, Julie Lakey and Tara (soon to be David Rodrigues) Garrison who they raised as a daughter. Eldon was blessed with five grandchildren, Dana (Jenn) Buck, Tonia (Manuel) Arevalo, Brittany (Charles) McKahn and Dillon Stone. In addition, he was blessed with five great- grandchildren, Katelyn Austin, Daniel Arevalo, Emma Buck, Aiden Buck and Waylon Stone.
Eldon was a Manteca resident. He attended Manteca High School and would play football and run track during his high school years. He was a truck driver most of his life and was most at peace outdoors. He enjoyed spending time fishing and causing trouble at Lake Tulloch. He was an avid poker player, teaching everyone in his family how to play. Eldon was a human encyclopedia, as he knew a little about every subject. He looked forward to his breakfast at the skillet in Ripon as he was friends with all the waitresses and customers. He had a beautiful garden where he grew year round vegetables. Eldon loved his companion Peanut, his dog, which was always at his side. Eldon was an amazing father, wonderful grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
