Eliseo L. Lopez of Manteca, CA, was born on November 12, 1928 in San Bernardino, CA, and passed from this life surrounded by his family on December 26, 2015 at his home.
    He was a World War II veteran with the U.S. Coast Guard and received the Victory Medal.  He worked in construction from 1968 until his retirement in 1991.  An ordained Christian minister, he served in various capacities of church leadership including Youth Pastor, Co-Pastor, Sunday School Teacher, and Prayer Leader.  At Christian Life Center (Stockton) he served for many years in the Prison Ministry. 
   He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Averil Lopez; daughter Yvonne Morin of Manteca, son David Lopez of Gilroy, daughter Diane Herrera of Gilroy, daughter Evette Roman of Turlock, son Eli Lopez of Stockton, daughter Elisha Lopez of Manteca, and numerous grandchildren.
   A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 4th at 1:00 p.m. at Christian Life Center, 9025 West Ln, Stockton, CA).  A committal service, will be held on Tuesday, January 5th, at
1:30 p.m. at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA.
