Eloise Thomas, 88, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at her residence in Manteca with her husband and children by her side. She was born in Louisiana on March 27, 1922. She resided in Manteca the last 15 years.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Tommy Thomas; children, Bill Early and wife Alberta of Manteca, Barbara Jager and husband Richard of Manteca, Linda Ward and husband Charles of Kansas; grandchildren, Valerie DeBerry of Calif. City, Crystal Rosene and husband Gary of Manteca, Andrew Early of Manteca, Christina Perez and husband Jimmy of Manteca, Stacy Werner and husband Kevin of Ripon, James Evans and wife Jamie of Tracy, Ken Evans and Tina of Tracy, Matthew Evans and wife Andrea of Modesto, Jeffrey Evans of Reno, Pamela and Steffanie of Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Gilbert Early, and many great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home on French Camp Road. Memorial service will be held on Monday, June 21, at 10 a.m. at Almond Blossom Estates Club House, Manteca.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Sister Ann’s Ministry of Caring, c/o Bank of the West, 150 Commerce Ave., Manteca, CA 95336.
