With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of a beloved father, dedicated educator, and cherished family man, Felice “Phil” Rodoni, who peacefully left this world on October 25, 2023, at the age of 95.  Born on April 30, 1928, in Tracy, California, he spent nearly a century enriching the lives of those around him.  Raised on the serene grounds of his family's dairy farm, Phil learned the values of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of family from his loving parents. These lessons guided him throughout his remarkable life. After marrying his devoted wife Norma, Phil embarked on a journey filled with love, commitment, and unwavering support. Their enduring union of 56 years was a testament to their deep affection and mutual respect.

In his distinguished career spanning 46 years in public education, Phil touched countless lives as an esteemed educator.   Beginning as a business teacher at Manteca High School, he later assumed the role of the inaugural principal at East Union High School in Manteca. His leadership and dedication paved the way for generations of students to excel. Not content with his achievements in secondary education, Phil continued to inspire as the Dean of Student Services at Delta College for 23 years. His passion for learning and belief in the transformative power of education left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Outside the classroom, Phil found solace and joy in his garden, cultivating beauty amidst nature's splendor. Yet, his greatest source of happiness was found in the presence of his cherished family. He adored spending time with his children, Felicia and son-in-law, Erik Wilson, and Philip and daughter-in-law, Caroline. He took immense pride in the accomplishments of his grandchildren, Livia (11), Elena (15), Andrew (19), and Blaine (20).

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to his community, Phil was honored as a member of the Manteca Hall of Fame in 2003. His legacy of excellence and service will continue to inspire future generations.  As Phil peacefully journeyed into eternity, he leaves behind a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched

throughout his remarkable journey.

In the quiet moments of reflection, may we find solace in the knowledge that Phil lived a life of purpose, love, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever illuminate our lives with warmth and grace.

In his unwavering belief in the power of education, Phil leaves behind a memorial scholarship fund held at Delta College of Stockton. Donations can be made to San Joaquin Delta College, Financial Aid & Scholarships, at 5151 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95207, in honor of his lifelong commitment to education and community service.

As we bid farewell to a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and educator, may we find comfort in the

memories we shared and the enduring legacy of love he leaves behind. Rest in peace, and know that your spirit will live on in our hearts forevermore.
