Devout Christian, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Glen died peacefully in Ripon, CA on November 28, 2025 with his son and daughter by his side. He was born in Blue Rapids, Kansas to William (Alfie) and Flossie Mapes. The Mapes family moved to Ripon in the late 1930s. Glen's wife, Myrna preceded him in death on June 21, 2022, after 71 years of marriage. He leaves his children, Jerry Mapes (Bonnie), Vicki French (Steve, dec'd) and daughter–in–law Diann Mapes (Ron, dec'd), 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Glen worked at the Nes– tles Coffee Company for 43 years, starting with unloading coffee trucks and ended his career at Nestles as a lab technician and tasting coffee. There will be a memorial service at Heartland Community Church in Ripon, CA on January 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Bethany Home (930 W.
